Tons of good youtubes, I've been watching lots of them. Something i learned is that British planes (maybe not exclusive) used aerodynamic wires for rigging, meaning not round. They are usually represented by thin PE, in 1/32 scale it would be about 0.3-0.35mm flat steel.

That should be enough to knock your ego down a bit, it did mine!

Just started the vid. I can't stand the vids when they don't talk but thanks!

I'm sorry, those two are some of the ones I subscribe to so it was easy to grab them, I tend to turn the music down and watch the talent.

I've a nice lake about 15 mins from my house and a river about five mins. A river that actually flows year round! I believe the lake is connected to four others total.
I probably should have said surfing. I know folks in New Mexico that are VERY into fly-fishing.

$950USD is a bit over "normal" if you ask me. I see anything from 700-800 to be the typical price.

I also seldom buy a kit without intent to build it, two exeptions I have made before are a 1970s Monogram version of the F-8 Crusader, and the Testors version of the super-secret "Stealth Fighter" that was completely wrong about what it really looked like. I just wanted to have those for emotional reasons, but each one cost $20-30 USD.

I bought the Gotha because it was $300 cash in a parking-lot (FB Marketplace) transaction.
Wanna guess what I just bought???

After seeing the eBay post I remembered I had seen that kit at a hobby shop- Andy's for under $200. So I ran up there today and bought it on my lunch. Interesting concept. Initially I bought it to sell but on the way back to the office started thinking…
