Guess the question is "when"?

Since I'll always have multiple things going at once, and these GBs can last 2 years, is the timing important?
Haha, didn't expect such a quick show of interest! I was thinking... Someday!

There is something barn-storming-county-fair-ish about biplanes, so what if we wait for those lazy hazy days of summer, and a few more wing-walkers??

Lo and behold, Churchill in Tunisia!

Given all the other tanks that have crept into the stash, looks like I'll be joining the 'tread thread heads'

104s almost REQUIRE Luftwaffe markings!

It is a top-5 most beautiful aircraft in my opinion.
Yeah, that's what I've realised in the last couple of weeks, there are soooo many cool markings from Japan and Germany, I actually bought this kit for the all metal US Airforce option but have now seen loads of cool German marking in addition to the Japanese, which I absolutely love, decisions decisions...

Working in tech, there were acronyms up the Wazoo!
It has gotten worse each year, maybe each quarter. I am very much looking to retirement after 35 years in IT.

Sorry, there's another acronym...

IT = Information Technology.

Well, I'm a PMHNP working on a FACT team and my patients are SMI and many of them have a PO.

Oh! I flushed many similar terms when I retired.
After too many years designing Telecom and network management UIs, the last 10 years were focussed on EHRs and EMRs... Also ancillary care and insurance adjudication. None specifically in your domain though.

It was a Canadian product aimed at small to mid size hospitals, OACIS, which was acquired by TELUS Health.
I believe a hospital in Atlanta had been using it mostly for its Gateway, and it was principally adopted in major Hospitals in Quebec as well as Sunnybrook in Toronto, as well as in SW Australia. Typically, small to medium institutions couldn't afford large American turnkey solutions where you had to rip out everything and install their proprietary systems... OACIS provided a common view into patient records across different vendors and specialties, which small institutions tended to purchase over time. That was back in the 2010 timeframe.
Areas I got to work on included CPOE, Weight based dosing, I&O, MAR and Order sets.
Job shadowing staff in different departments was always super interesting!
Seems like a million years ago now! 🙄

... Barley the dog and I doing our nightly perimeter rounds, and these had landed inside the front gate.
Some reference materials for future builds, and my in-progress Vickers!

I just lo-ove technical illustration! 😍

When I first started building on this forum I was always amazed at how other fellow modelers were always interested in books and manuals and technical stuff on what they're building. Never understood it. Don't you just go to the Hobby store and pick out a model go home and build it oob? Holy moly did I have a lot to learn.

It'll probably be smarter to start with a couple of the other Wingnut kits you have before tackling this one, I'd say :)

You guys are good. The past couple days all I've been seeing is Wingnut kits. Sound like there's got to be something to these so I looked them up. Oh lordy lordy I want a couple. As sophistication is right up my alley. I love zokimira or ZM as everyone says. And it sounds like I got to grab one before they're gone?

The original company dissolved under much controversy when COVID hit. But a few of the key players migrated and are credited with "Kotare" being so good.

I still say Tamiya is #1, with ZM right behind them. Tamiya has better overall engineering, but ZM destroys them on detail.

I think Kotare (and without experience WnW) fit right in between.

I agree with grabbing one. The fellow I bough the Gotha from was aghast that I'd consider building it. He said "do you know the appreciation rate on these? Better than the stock market and better than precious metals".

He's not wrong, but I answered "there's no U-hauls in heaven".

... If all he sees are $$$, he clearly doesn't APPRECIATE our craft... Or the depth of our addiction! 🤔
Geez. I hear you. I hope my wife keeps looking around my hobby room and all she sees is things that look like airplanes and maybe a truck or two and a whole lot of stupid paint. I dread the day when she looks around and goes.. hey now, wait a minute. Just wait one dog gone minute. This bottle paint says it's $4. Oh my God look at them all🤣
