I used to fly rockets too, was fantastic fun unless it ended up in a tree or something. These are for static display, so I'm not installing the flight hardware.HI any more done on this rocket as i used to build an fly these rockets great fun they were only trouble was that they went up to about a 1000 ft an then floated down on parachutes when the ejectshion charge blew to push out the parachute an if a good wind blowing then it could drift for miles an tryin to find them an get them back for reuse was a headake but still grat fun as it bought other people down ours as we lived way out in the sticks an only time we dint launch them was bad wheather or if the RAF JAGS WERE FLYIN OVER

Nice build of a cool new kit. If I were still flying I would have bought one but congenital lower leg neuropathy has finally ended my flying days after almost 50 years. Do you plan on flying it and if so will you use the Estes E or F engines? I never really got to fly any of those, although I have some which are being taken shortly, but they seem to have a rather high failure rate. I believe I read on the rocketry forum of a guy who lost one of these to a cato. Anyway if you do fly and get pics post them after.
Thanks, this is a commission build for a customer, display only.Nice build of a cool new kit. Glad you cleared that up, I saw "Estes" and feared the worst! This is for display only, not a flying version.
