Yes but it feels good knowing you did all that! Finally made some progressView attachment 179270View attachment 179271View attachment 179272View attachment 179273and just like that all the work I put into the cockpit is invisible
No primer? It's looking good.Just need to do the green camo.
Hey, great time/paint saver! Thanks. No I generally don't do primer.
Great to know you can produce a hard-edged camo pattern with it. I'll be using this on my 1/32 P-40E.Used cam putty for the first time. The stuff is great.View attachment 179444View attachment 179445View attachment 179446

Glad it worked for somebody! The stuff is great.
Be careful using it around fiddley bits (armor), they dissappear if you aren't super careful. Ask me how I know.Glad it worked for somebody!![]()
Ditto.Over 40 years later I still can't keep myself from working on the detail.
I'm beginning to wonder about AK products. My own experience with them has been mixed. And don't leave it on overnight! It behaves like super thick molasses and oozes into places you never thought of!
I use their law paints almost exclusively and love them. Have never used masking though. Washes are good.Ditto.

Looks beautiful!Made some more progress. Decals and the propeller. Going to paint the yellow tips instead of messing with the decals.View attachment 179901

Can you describe your decaling process? The only time I've lost a decal as you described is by handling the model before the decal was completely set.Every model I manage to butcher at least one decal.
