... the cockpit is invisible.
I've been living with that thought since I built the Monogram 1/48, B-24 many decades ago. My dad used to look at my models under construction, with all the interior detailing, and tell me that no one will know how much detail is in that model. I'm still okay with that, because I know.
Over 40 years later I still can't keep myself from working on the detail.

Ditto.
And don't leave it on overnight! It behaves like super thick molasses and oozes into places you never thought of!
I'm beginning to wonder about AK products. My own experience with them has been mixed.

Made some more progress. Decals and the propeller. Going to paint the yellow tips instead of messing with the decals.View attachment 179901
It looks great!
Seeing the markings "DW-K" in the fuselage brings back a lot of memories. I wouldn't be surprised if more models have been built of DW-K than any other plane in History. I know I have contributed my fair share of DW-K Spitfires.
Anyone else build a DW-K Spitfire? If so, how many?

Once again I have some kind of decal problem. I noticed one of them is missing. Not sure how I did that. I put it on but it's not there now. It's small so not a big deal but still frustrating. Another one I just discovered I broke part of it off. Every model I manage to butcher at least one decal.
