I would love if some one could make real hose clamps this small that actually work.
Just got the super small brass tube..see if I can make a tiny tube with screw to glue to them..

... where do you get them? I find the wall thickness to tube diameter gets too thick the smaller they get...

I forgot where I got these..the pe ones are too thick..

Worst part is its easy to find 1/24 scale parts..1/12 way harder..usually from Europe with crazy shipping cost.
Aluminum hvac tape works pretty well.

Well..this is the best I can do with the hose clamps screw tubes..way too small to put a screw in there as the tube is .7mm..which corrospndes with the width of the clamp..
The length of the tube should be twice the width of the clamp.

Got the springs and dampers put together and weathered.
Replaced the screws they give you with brass bolts..which im almost out of...

It was fun attaching it to the frame with wire...
Glad it was pretty correct..would not want to make that from scratch..but it was a thought.

More progress..wheel hubs and steering crossmember on..
Now have to figure out how to attach brake cables..they want you to tie a knot on the lever...um..no..

Will you be able to rig some kind of more mechanically realistic attachment than a knot?

I tried drilling out a banjo bolts to fit over the lever..no go..tried thinning the level..not good.
I could try to make a banjo bolt..see how that goes.

And after this..build comes to a stall.
Have to wait at least 18 days for the engine turned aluminum sheet for the dash...italeri hasn't answered my last email about new decals..so I'm stuck.
Unless I start painting and weathering all the body parts..
And build the wheels...hey..I'm not stuck..

Iteleri got back to me..if they have the decals its 11 bucks..ill take it..then see what looks better...would be interesting to use the real aluminum sheet and use the decal as a template.

They said 30 days till delivery..oy
But I can do a lot more work..
Now have to figure out if bugatti primed the aluminum body before paint.
If so..it will be primer..aluminum..primer..paint with salt weathering..then a matt sealer...
Should keep me busy.
Oh..then drill about 120 holes for the microscopic body bolts..then safety wire them all...

On my front brake cables I made a small loop to go around the brake lever. When I got them like I wanted and on the levers I put a small drop of paint on the doubled portion of the wire. Did it about three times. Looks just like a swedged cable.

Did you use the wire it came with.
I bought a very thin twisted cable..had a lot of spring to it...

This is a block zone..ergo Lego clone.
3500 pieces almost 300 bucks..but wow.
Very tempting..

Cut the fake bolts off with the super sonic knife..have to be careful with that thing..drilled 120 holes a little smaller than the bolt shaft diameter..which is .42mm...after paint..will have to redrill and clear them out...
