Not exactly what I wanted but close enough.
Primer..alclad steel..Vallejo rust wash..tam

Have to take a break..came down with an upper respiratory infection..
Tried to work on it..but i think all I may do is screw it up..not much sleep in 4 days..not good for working on fiddly bits..

I tried yesterday with some pe...quit after 2 pieces.
I've got several sub assemblies going now as I wait for the 3rd batch of paint.
I just don't like the water based stuff.
Going to try tamiya laquer in a can.
Cant put the motor or the radiator in until the front frame is painted...
Started on the dash..would be nice if they showed you were a lot of the lines go...hard to trace them even with 400 pictures and the book. Like this spagetti..

Used the cutter today with the porcelain blade to cut a leather piece. No way could I have done it with a regular scalpel.

Wow...so..the decal for the dashboard
That simulates engine turned aluminum..fell apart...
So..I found the only company that makes something like it. MFH...its 10 bucks..then they send me the final bill
Its 40 bucks..
I give up...
