Wow, Nordic sauna floor, standard equipment!
'nough said! Where's it at?!2.5T truck
I've a Tamiya AMC 2.5t 6x6. Nice kit. I moved the tools to the back of the truck because I'm making a tarp and originally was having the tarp come down- would have covered the tools then I found some photos and realized… anyway it's done so I'm leaving it. Also moved the spare gas cans because mounting on the sideboards of the cab did not make any sense to me. I'm finishing up by working on a tarp and making straps for two of the cans.I'm wrapping up a 2.5T truck. Is that eligible or no since I had already started it?
Nice! How'd you make it?making a tarp
I found a canvas bag at hobby lobby for $1.50 cut it to fit. I used super glue on edges so it wouldn't fray. Used super glue on spots where I drilled holes to run the tie downs through. Ended up painting it us dark green. I then made some straps and buckles so I could roll it half way up to show off the floor. That's not accurate but it works for me. I did look up the knots they would have used - 1/2 hitch so those are accurate.Nice! How'd you make it?
The Deuce and a Half such an iconic truck!
Ok so wrapped this up today. I decided to roll the tarp up half way to show the bed deck. Made straps and buckles to hold the tarp- not accurate. Knots used would have been half hitch and my knots are accurate! Haha. Added some dust streaking and made straps for the gas cans. If you notice the spare is bald and I wore down two of the inside tires as well.I've a Tamiya AMC 2.5t 6x6. Nice kit. You obviously don't have cats!Sticky mat to the rescue!
..in the past, I'd only chance removing extra small parts one assembly at a time... it was just too easy to accidently brush one with my sleeve, or sneeze, etc... especially with my magnifying cheaters on, almost like blinders!
I was so excited when I saw this contraption on another thread, I didn't bother bookmarking the post, just went straight to Amazoony and ordered it!
So THANK YOU, @KINGSLUG !
