Same here, I used it in my first diorama.I remember building it in the 70s.
The first tank I remember building was the Monogram Screamin' Mimi (followed by the Hedge Hog) back in the mid 70's. Man, I'd love to have one of those again. This kit and a Revell 1/32 Sherman were the first two kits I ever built, for a school project when I was about 11. Always makes me nostalgic when I see the box art![]()
I believe the revell kit was a re-release of the monogram hedge hog kit. After I replied on here I went looking for it on eBay haha! The first tank I remember building was the Monogram Screamin' Mimi (followed by the Hedge Hog) back in the mid 70's. Man, I'd love to have one of those again.

You're off to a good start Tommergun.
That's because it was good for its day but has been far superseded by every other Sd.Kfz. 251 kit that's come out since. Also, it's about 3 mm too narrow, IIRC — a mistake that Dragon somehow copied on their kits.I've heard some negative reviews on this kit
Yeah, I swiped several from my daughters. They're the perfect size.In the first assembly photos, are those hair ties that are wrapped around the vehicle to hold it while gluing? If so, very neat idea!
... I see it even has hardware for hooking up the reindeer!Just in time for Christmas
