Anyone have a good feel of which models you should nose weight and those not.....except ALL B-25 Michells should have nose weights.

Put together the large main parts temporarily (holding them together with tape if you have to) and balance the model on your fingers, where the main gear goes. If it tips backwards, it needs a nose weight — simple as that :)

As for how much weight: put some stuff like Blu-Tack or similar on the forward part of the model, as close as you can get it to where the actual weight is to go in. Keep adding little bits until the model tips forward, and then just weigh the amount of Blu-Tack you added. Put in at least this much weight of lead (or whatever) in the nose.

And as a third tip: the "liquid gravity" that's sold specifically for this purpose is actually a poor choice. I looked it up a few years ago, and IIRC it has a specific gravity (sg) of something like 4 or 5. For comparison, lead is 11, so if you use lead shot you would only need half to a third as much.

Another option is to put your model on a base and anchor it with a pin, or with a small bolt in the nose wheel.

All of them!! JK.
It depends on how you display them, if you build them wheels up and hang them from the ceiling then it doesn't matter. If they're wheels down and sit on a flat surface then add weight to all of them. For me I build wheels down but hang them on the wall ( nose down) so it doesn't matter for me.

I'm thinking about displaying hanging on the wall also. If possible, could you post a picture of how you specifically attach model to wall? Overhead trim? Picture hanger? A special made bar? Etc????? Thanks

I know some people use tiny "rare earth" (neodymium) magnets to hold items to a base but not make it permanent. I've heard some do that with ordinance too.
