Help Support Scale Model Addict:

This weekend, I'm at a large model show, so I bought this to build while I'm there:

So guess what just arrived today?

It came packaged in a thicker shipping container and above is what I found inside. Opened one end and this is what has arrived...

And I can tell you this is a monster kit in 1/350 with a ton of parts and extras. This is the Deluxe version straight from the VeryFire factory. It came faster than expected. So I look forward to doing in kit review out of the box before I do a full build of it. I'm very excited about this one, but also a bit intimated...lol.

interesting that they are not listed as A6M2, B5N, or a D3A.
IIRC, both designations are correct. The official name of the B5N was, in Japanese, the 九七式艦上攻撃機, which translates as Type 97 Carrier Attack Aircraft; "B5N" was another Japanese Navy designation for the type. (And, incidentally, "Nakajima B5N" is double: B = carrier-based attack bomber, 5 = fifth aircraft type for this role from this manufacturer, N = designed/manufactured by Nakajima Aircraft Company.)

New today...
Dunno about the CMK brand of the VW, guess we'll find out...
The leather sample sheets grain is too big (for scale), but it was cheap, and my 7yr old granddaughter will be thrilled, as she loves making clothes creations for her dollies.
Some semi gloss paint for my Topolino interior, finer tipped round pliers, and some flat brass strips for scratch building!

Thank you. I appreciate it.
If you have any questions when you're building it, feel free to ask :) I've taken extensive photos of a real M29C's suspension and feel like I know fairly well how it goes together, both IRL and on the Takom kit (and the LZ kit too, which I really would recommend you never try and build :) ) — talking of which, I also put those photos up on Missing-Lynx.

Please Jakko, if you will, upload some pics
I didn't really take any, other than of our own stand — sorry :(

I will definitely take you up on that offer when I get around to it. Again, much appreciated.

Ooops !!! Who ordered this ?? IT'S BIIIIGGGGGG !
I'm afraid to do a post-1950s jet in 1/32 for that reason. WWII fighters are a nice sweet spot on size for me. But I have a 1/48 F-105 that is physically larger than a 1/32 Bf109. Imagine a really large fighter like F-14 in 1/32.
