Until then some little progress:

"I'm a little singed but I'm Ok" comes to mind. ;D Looking good and battle worn.

HUGE mess with Li-on battery the fist one never came in :-X

So I order another and then the first ebayer say hey I send you another one and so I cancelled the second order BUT the second battery of the first ebayer never arrived too :-\

And now people in the expo want to see it all light up, son want to see it all light up also and family and friends too and I have no battery available and no order placed

So I ordered an second battery not on ebay this time because I had problem with battery only with ebay and never with my other source :D

But she will be not here before many days so I had to come with an immediat and good temporary solution ::)

So I made a 3.6v 1000 mah nimh pack out of 3 1.2v rechargable nimh cells:

And now she is all light up:

Some weathering touches to do like these ones:

And then I will weathered and put this one in place:

And after that we will be close to the end on this project ::)

Way to do it yourself! Looks like you are just about there and it's looking good all lit up. Those cockpit details you showed previously really pop.

Excellent improvisation with the battery pack there.
Ship is looking really sharp
