Would you prefer SMA Magazine to change to perfect bound?

Man, you guys must be rough on magazines. I've almost never had a perfect bound publication fall apart.

I'd keep it stapled because spines can loose pages over time. Staples can be, well, re-stapled.

For us the hobbyists I think because we do use the magazines rather that leave it on a coffee table the current style is preferred..The perfect bound are great for coffee table mag's...Thanx

Perfect bound publications simply don't lay flat well at all and when forced, you break the spine and pages can fall out. I far prefer stapled publications, especially those I might use a reference material (which is why I buy modelling magazines in the first place)

Stapled is the way to go, definitely.
