What is IN your Stash?

Its funny BarleyBop, yesterday at the hobby store I had the very same AFV Club 8.8 cm flak 18 kit, from your first pic, in my hands. Not sure why I put in down, but once I got home I regretted not buying it........next time :)

In another post, I talked about that 88 and the three vehicles... got all four for the cost of one, part of a huge pile of kits from one estate purchase at a LHS. At the time, I was sticking to North Africa softskins only, and out the window went that rule!

That IS my therapy!
I agree.
I've got a few hobbies, modelling, family history and vintage mopeds.
I've also had periods of mental health issues. I don't mind admitting it. (Ex fire service and some stuff messed my head up).
We all need therapy, and time to lose ourselves in our own hobbies.
And model building is far better than drink or drugs.

Oooh, nice. Built it as a kid but probably will never get to this one. I hope to get to see your build.
Noooooo...key word there..."had".

I think I threw away the last part of it that I had kept, the "6-pack 427" engine, a few years ago. The box art was identical and seeing your pic reminded me.

Edit: I shudder to think of things I threw away within the last 20 years. I had no intention to pick the hobby up again until last spring when I went all-in. Of all the lost treasures I think the one that hurts the worst is not super-cool kits, because with a few exceptions I pretty much mangled them. What hurts the most is the 6 or 7 complete/consecutive years worth of "Military Modeler Magazine". They were all from ~1975-1982 when I moved out of mom & dad's house and went off to college, I tossed them like 5 or 7 years ago after keeping them all that time. Grrrrr.
