AFV Club 1/35th scale Dodge WC-52 weapons carrier Tunisia 1942. The Germans captured and used lots of British and U.S. vehicles during the campaign. Depicted here is a Dodge WC-52 'under new management' as it had been abandoned after crashing into some rocks. Ground work is AVES Studios 'Clay-Shay' with some Silfor grasses and Armor Farm grasses. The rocks were made from Pine tree bark sealed and painted various shades of tans and grays. The wooden .50cal. ammo boxes are laser cut items and the ration box is from Hudson and Allen. I added fine chain to the tailgate as well as blue drab registration numbers and Operation Torch national insignias in yellow. The figure is Verlinden I think. I did not have the package as it was taken from the spares box and he had been there commiserating with other figures for quite some time. Archer Fine Transfers were used for the figures uniform.

Pine Tree Bark Rock Formation.

Some images of the rocks made from Pine Bark rock formations that a fellow modeler taught me recently. Thanks Mike Trentadue!
