I don't think that Tamiya kits have flash in principle, or at least not in my experience. But the detail is a quite outdated. So it is very good that you have PE sets that would bring the kit to todays standard.

Have you decided on paint scheme?

Great progress.. That PE looks so cool, gotta luv PE!!! Such a neat little vehicle, so futuristic considering when it was designed and built... Great subject...

I think there is a small burr on the roof of the hull in the rear (pe part). better to sand it before you paint.
