Looks like I can jump right on it and cruise it down the road. Awesome work (as usual). Love the silver paint. The bike is done, just got to build the base now. Pantherman

Yeah, I'm really pleased with it. Getting to love my bikes. PMLooks like I can jump right on it and cruise it down the road. Awesome work (as usual). Love the silver paint.
I used the chrome parts supplied and touched in any bit's with a chrome pen. The bodywork was sprayed with vallejo aluminium air. PMDid you strip the chrome and redo it? If so, what chrome did you use?
And now finished on it's base with it's mate. PanthermanThe bike is done, just got to build the base now. Pantherman

Thank you. PMVery nicely turned out!
Many thanks. PMGreat job. Looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing it with us
It's possible I suppose. PanthermanThat looks like more than 'silvered' - I'd say that's a funky decal - like it took just a touch of paper with it.
I would definitely go with Tamiya, the susuki bike I am currently building is a good first bike as relatively cheap and great instructions. Also you can follow us on the group build, even join in, then we can all help if you have any issues or questions.Hi all, hope this is the best place to ask: I want to start building scale model motorcycles but have limited experience (have done some planes way back) and not a good space to use spray paint. Could any of you recommend me some models suitable for beginners? Will I be able to get somewhat decent results with brush painting?
No worries.Thank you for your kind response. I had been eyeing Tamiya as their models are widely lauded as very good. I'll look into the kit you posted. As per my edit, I actually meant to post in the group build, apologies.
