Got on the terminal velocity thread talking about the temps, i needed to get warm. Time to get back to the beach and shred. Rebuilt the Lil Gasser to bring the fun, a woody body some big fat paddle tires and an injected Boss for lots of power. Need a couple of long boards delivered in a hurry?

Love the front end on that puppy!
What is that ornament hanging out there?!
The grill and shell are 41 Willys, the hood ornament is a lantern holder from one of the AMT Lil series vehicles, they share a lot of parts and there is parts on the trees that are for other cars in the series than the one your building. Aways nice to have extra goodies. To me It looked like an art deco rendition of a wave so it was perfect for the build.

How many spare parts have you got to build all this?
Not as much as you would think, some are from old dead kits, or ones i have bought a couple of over the years, some is from diecast dragsters, i buy a 41 Willys kit just to use the parts if im building a gasser of some sort from a stock kit. I give the bodies away after , im not a big willys fan. I bought the Lil gasser just to do Moon Doggy, the original rear wheels from Lil G are on the pushmepullyou. Most kits i buy end up as something else, parts are replaced with resin or printed ones, or parts i make, leaving me the stock kit stuff for later.
