"Straight 48" Gas engine M-48 conversion

Here are some in progress images of the Chesapeake Models gas engine M-48 conversion kit bashed with the Tamiya M48A3 kit in 1/35th scale. As it is modeling lore the Tamiya suspension was lowered as it 'rides too high'.
Most everything fit really well and a very nice representation can be made.
