Simple Green Question

I have a Naboo Starfighter that I want to strip off the chrome finish that was put on by the manufacturer. I was at Walmart today and could not find Simple Green. What other Green cleaning alternatives will have the same results?

Super clean. It's at walmart in auto section. It will strip it in less than 3 min.

although apparently thick bleach works well also

Yep bleach will do and it dont have to be thick. There is a vid in this section on chrome striping have a look at the bleach in action

my bad.. I thought that because the bleach used in the vid is the thick kind..

I should have paid closer attention.. heh

but since I have a gallon of super clean already it will probably be a while before I try the bleach myself.. unless I get some stubborn chrome the super clean doesnt wipe away in 45 seconds..

Here you go, ordinary household bleach.
The bleach I used was thick but only because it's what I had under the sink, thin bleach works just the same, any old brand will do.
One benefit of the thick is you're less likely to splash it about and get it on your clothes.
