hi everyone, worked on the engine for the past two days, here are the updates...

the cylinder head badges

the flywheel is still missing, will be mounted once the gearbox is completed

writing "BMW Power" within the 10mm space was frustrating

a few more bits

intake header under construction

completed and mounted

alternator and pulleys mounted

cam-belt also placed

the complete P60 B40 assembly

here is a small update again...

wheel mounts

engine mount

front suspension-dampers and springs

brake discs and calipers

everything into their places

gearbox

clutch fixed at the rear of engine

engine and gearbox joined

driveshaft had to be fixed permanently as well, as nothing is intended to rotate

powertrain inserted into chassis, the process didn't require any glue as the parts fitted tightly enough

marriage was not perfect, as a small gap has been left between engine and its mount

shaft's other end came out satisfactorily

a complete assembly

diffuser (wasn't sure about it's shape since i couldn't find any decent pics on net, so an approx shape)

the signature side m3 badges

all lids open

the completed BMW M3 GTR

self-designed logo with initials "DM" (Deutsch Muskel)

together with the Force India VJM03 built 3 years ago
