Im currently working on my F-15 and started today on the armament. Im sure that Im not the first person to think of this but I wanted to pass it on since it makes this process so much easier. I take my 18V cordless Dewalt drill and lightly chuck the bomb into it (make sure not to over tighten or you will mark the plastic) leaving roughly half the bomb exposed. Take your sand paper cut a strip roughly 1/2" wide, wrap it around the bomb and let the drill do the work. Then take out the bomb chuck it in the other way and repeat. Repeat this process until your happy with the result. The great thing about this is you can very easily maintain the round shape of the bomb where as with hand sanding out the seams its easy to get flat spots. Hope that little tip helps.
