Here is my build report of the Revell U.S.S. VOYAGER

I really enjoyed watching Star Trek Voyager, so I got the kit a few years ago, but never got around to build it until now. I also play Star Trek Online now and then and ofcourse I fly and Intrepid class to, U.S.S. Illustrious NCC 198206. That will also be the name of this model, once I get my decal paper and the good font for the name and registery numbers.
Also I would like to make a model with lights, this kit if perfect for that. Now I don't know anything about elektronics so I orderd the light kit from Trekmodeler.com.

But I think we all like to see picture's?

Here she is over Earth Space Dock:

The instructions and the decal sheet, loads of tiny decals!

Started cleaning up the parts for a perfect fit.

And the long process of making the windows has begun. Don't have any power tools small enough for the job so all by hand. I just watch a movie while I do the windows and it is ok.

First I just make a hole trough the window.

Then I clean it up until it looks ok:

Then clean up the backside until it looks like this:

And they survived the trip from USA to Belgium!

And one with the hull over it:

Until next update!
