Fairly poor garage photo. Chiclets with dots.
I was amused to see these colored dots on a few closeups of the studio model's white "chiclets".
I used leftover decal material to make the tiny dots:

Now will commence the detailing and decaling of the shuttles….

Detailing the Delta Flyer. Canopy and other details painted with medium gray enamel. Warp grills cut from leftover blue decal material. Deflector trench was carved out using a tiny cylindrical bit in my battery powered "dremel" then brushed with sky blue enamel. Added thin styrene strips to make phaser strips. Will paint them matte beige. More decaling to come:

Models after paint and decals… some weathering will follow for the Aerowing…

Next up… final detailing with Tamiya chalks and maybe a subtle black acrylic wash over a flat coat then a sealing coat.
Also, I'm almost done finishing the base. Will have a few photos to share soon.

Excellent work on those tiny ships.
I never did detail the Flyer when I did my Odysseus-A at this size
 
Thanks Q. The decals are the only way to go for registry, name, stripes, and other small details much too small for me to handbrush.

Anyway, as we voyage merrily along...

Aero Wing after weathering. The streaks and dirt really add to the realism I think. Something you'd expect to see from atmospheric travel:

Delta Flyer finished. i added red and green formation lights using enamel paint and a toothpick.
Also hit a few other spots with a dab of green. This ship is a hybrid of borg and fed tech after all:

Looks great on the back porch. The tiny rare earth magnets do a nice job keeping the little jewel in place.
I also have a magnet in the base, though, if I want to leave the shuttle bay unobstructed:
