I've been not-so-jokingly referring to this kit as the decal job from (a very warm place) ever since i started it.

Thank you for posting this. I saw model man Tom's build and between yours and his, I know have a better picture of this build. You detailed out a lot of things that he missed with this one.

This model is sitting on my workbench waiting for me to finish up the new computer. (Building the comp from scratch.) I have the second version of the 1/350 refit that came with similar decals. I bought the 1/1000 as a test build for the decals on the 1/350. I also want to know how this thing will look with the decals on them. If it is going to be bad, I will just paint her up instead.
