Polar Lights 1/1000 Enterprise

[Quaralane]

Currently working on the Polar Lights 1/1000 Refit Enterprise.
Though the kit calls for her to be the Refit, I've chosen to use the decals from the Alliance kit and make her the Enterprise A.

kit was built in subassemblies straight up according to the instructions.
Although some seam work was needed in areas, none of it was too bad.

She was base-coated in grey before being given a light coat of gloss white.

I did some minor detail painting by hand before tackling the "decal job from heck."
Namely, before applying the aztec decals that cover most of the surface of the model.

This is the third build of this ship I have seen in the last 3 months. Each and every one shows something new. Thanks for the vids, tomorrow when I have more time, I will look through the photos. I am curious how well the seams hide.
