I got this kit for my step-son. We haven't built them yet. We're still trying to figure out how we want to handle the lighting.

I made a base using some plastic container that I used as a cast for plaster.

I used some plastruct translucent rod and attached that to a 2mm superbright led:

Then to light the many lights in the hull, I used led strip lights that I got from TSDS

To illuminate the cockpit I put a green led in the instrument panel:

Thanks, the decs that Henry did for the kit are a hoot. even has bumper stickers..

I dipped the crew figures in tinted future and then painted the eyes.
