Operation torch Mk XII Hurricane (Airfix)

Hello folks I present for you veiwing pleasure and entertainment my first build in four years as the title say it is the operation torch Mk XII Hurricane from the Airfix limited edition from a fair few years back.


I started by removing the cockpit parts and pro propeller and lower part of the spinner from the spree then I slightly modified the propeller and spinner.

Next to be removed was the landing gear bay and the lower wing part which were attached to on another
Then I moved on the the fuselage and cut the gap for the arrester hook I was a little over zealous and need to whom one side.

She's sitting in primer where need at the moment

My one criticism so far is having to cut out the the space for the arrestor hook as it's rather fiddley at this scale
 
Hi folks please forgive the radio silence as I have recently started a job which has kind of stalled this also I have got to order a vacuform replacement canopy from the states as for some reason I can't find any UK based stockers
