Older "Batwing" pics

Decided to share a few of my older builds with you guys.

My first attempt at the Batwing from "Batman Forever"
These pics are several years old (at least 10), and two were taken by placing the model on my old flatbed scanner
Construction was done box stock, but I took a couple of unique steps in the painting.
The chrome inserts were all repainted in a silver metallic, then given a black wash. They were then drybrushed in metallic gold to help the details stand out better.

Scanning the model like that gives it a weird effect. I like it. Think I have this kit in my stash. Great work!

Back when I did this one, it was the only way I really had to take decent "closeup" pics.
I've got one in my stash now that I may use some of the same techniques on.
