Hey guys:

The 2014 Jerseyfest Model Kit & Statue Fair will kick off with “Jerseyfest Academy” all day classes on the Friday before the vendor show (i.e., August 1st). The Academy will feature expert instruction on painting, sculpting and constructing both figure and vehicle model kits by elite artists.

We are proud to once again host another “Figure Airbrush Asylum” class presented by Black Heart Enterprises and Badger Airbrush Company, which are always phenomenal !! Plus, a "Garage Kits US Paintfest" all day class has been added to the lineup! As many of you know, their past classes have been superb and we are lucky to have them. Both groups will be announcing more details including registration info in the coming months - so stay tuned.

And....we are thrilled to announce that the incredibly talented Gabe Perna will be doing an all day "hands on" class on sculpting a Batman!

On the hardware side, we will also have an advanced class on scratch building vehicle models lead by one of the very best and respected garage kit creators of resin, studio scale, sci-fi models from franchises like Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, etc.

For the icing on the cake, in another room we will have a vehicle painting class lead by one of the greatest Ma.K painters in the world who recently placed “first place” in Japan in an elite Ma.K contest that was judged by none other than Kow Yokoyama, creator of the Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K) genre.

Much more to come ! Our Jerseyfest Academy web page is here: http://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=3128
