Help! I have a wood and metal scale model Civil War cannon kit. I don't have the talent to build and paint it. I need to find a talented model builder that could built and paint it for me, and ship it back safely to me. I'll pay any reasonable price. I'm in Cleveland, Ohio.

Welcome to the herd, Greg!
You might do better looking for local modeling clubs near you. For example, there is a club in Grafton, the Lorain County IPMS Club, and they meet in Elyria. Here is there info from the IPMS/US website:

There's an email address noted on that page, as well as that they have a website and a Facebook page, too.

There is another IPMS chapter which might be close enough for you, IPMS John Glenn, in Independence. This is the entry for the John Glenn chapter, at the IPMS website:

Besides an email address, there is a link to their Facebook group, too.

IPMS/US is the International Plastic Modelers Society, in the US. You could try reaching out to either of those chapters, to see if there is anyone interested in taking your commission. The big advantage is that you wouldn't have to ship the piece back and forth.

Hello and welcome!!!!
Buy a kit, build it, see how you do. You won't know your talent or skill until you do.;)

I'm unreasonably expensive but please post a photo of the kit .

I don't have a separate photo of it, but here's a webpage address that has pictures of it - both assembled and disassembled. If you're interested in building it for me, I'll mention that I'd want a professional-looking job of it being assembled, and painted with exact historical accuracy.
