Vintage kits are definitely a challenge. I like to build them because 1, they can be fairly inexpensive, 2, I'm kinda ham-fisted and don't mind so much when I screw them up, 3, I'm pretty vintage myself. I built models as a kid back in the '70s, and I'm always on the lookout for kits that I had back then.
