Interesting, this EMP3D makes much the same mistakes as Vargas does in their 1:35 version of the M2A1 medium tank, plus some more …

Talk about 'bristling' with guns!
The model doesn't even have all of them :) There was a pintle mount on each side of the turret for an anti-aircraft machine gun, operated by crewmen standing in the hatches on the hull top. And in case you're not aware, those two vertical slots towards the bottom of the glacis could both have a machine gun in them, too, but as the muzzles aren't visible, the model doesn't have those guns installed.

With all possible guns installed, there's a 37 mm gun M5, a coaxial M1919 machine gun, four M1919s at the corners, two M1919s in the bow and two M1919s for anti-aircraft use. The US Army was obsessed with putting as many machine guns as possible on tanks in the 1930s — the M3 medium tank, which was based on the M2A1, retained the two bow guns (but side-by-side on the left) and even early M4 Shermans had ports for two bow guns in the middle of the glacis plate. Only the very, very early ones ever actually got them, though (including Michael, serial number 2), and they were welded up and then deleted on production tanks.

How many guys were in there?
Only five, apparently, but that sounds very low to me. Unless it's driver, commander/gunner (or just gunner?), loader (or commander/loader?) and two machine gunners?

The M2A1 has plenty of room for a five-man tank, really :) Take a look at a Matilda and think about how you get three people into the turret :)
