mmm, I tried it on a early stage but the result was horrible. No smoth, flat and nice effect, looked dirty in a bad way. I think the problem were that the brush was not really clean. Ill try it again but with 100% clean brush and wash.

Clear coat (Tamiya) air brushed on the Figures. Ill let it cure for a couple of days while im away from home.
Think I will wash certain areas on uniforms as well. Will post some updates when done.
Exciting stuff, will I ruin it or improve?

Umber oil wash, very thin.

Better skin tone and a bit more contrast, more "pop" in faces I guess.
Figure to the right looks greate.

Wow , that helped a lot !

The woman looks great .

Joe just looks really enthusiastic about the mission -- and he' really getting on Bandanna Man's nerves ;D

.... that last pic ( blur your eyes , ) looks like she has a paintbrush and palette and she's about to paint something fierce .

hmm, that painting woman could be a interresting/odd thing in a diorama.

Now I wrap it up on a base.

Here is the finished vinjette.

A lot of things that can be improved but im pleased with the result. Good for being me :)

Maybe I could do something about the tracks against the ground. Looks like a very light tank.. Suggestions?
Use some clay, press the tank and paint it up?
The figures are still not on the same "dirt level" as the tank. What to do about that? Air brush a very thin filter of deluted flat white to make it all blend better?

It was fun painting a civilian. Next project will be some kind of figures, I want to learn how to paint life like realistic figures. These looks a little cartonish, the colors and shades are not really there and so on.

Still happy with result altough being critical.

So, whats the story being told in this dio? Im not sure, dont know what shes pointing at and who she talks to.
José follows the discussion, he understands some of her language.

Crazy Eyes, Bandana man and Home sick kid are watching something as well, probably the same thing shes pointing at.
