Lets finish the rat.

The salt rat is one of my favorites it is my 3rd ground up build with almost 90% of the car being hand built. The body is a Jimmy Flintstone pc, the front trans axle, rear dif, seat, engine block heads and blowers are all 3d printed parts from 3d Model specialties. everything else is made from plastic bar and sheet, and some stainless tubing. I also make the turned aluminum wheels.

It was really fun to do, with the advent of 3d parts i was a kid in a candy store for wile 3 years ago. I will post Project X and X2 soon they are totally over the top, even the bodies are hand made.

I haven't ventured into that realm yet, but have a nephew we bought a top of the line printer/mill/CnC machine for, who is always happy to print my requests.
I'll go into the rabbit hole someday, just a bit intimidated by it, every time I go to learn about it I get information overload and just "click" off. LOL.

I dont have a printer i knew i would go crazy with one so i just buy parts. It was just awesome that i could build anything i could dream of now.

I see, and yes, you're correct. It opens up too many possibilities. They're virtually limitless.

HELP, can anyone help i cant access the auto forum but i can get on all the rest. I had to reset my password to get back on the site but now the auto forum is the only one i cant access. any body ever have a problem like this?
