Klingon Vor'cha Cruiser WIP

Hopefully, a more organised work area will yield more models and more better results! ;D

You will just find a new and improved ways to mess it up. As my Dad always used to say "It's not untidy, you just don't understand my system"(RIP. Pops)

Great build buddy, not a big Star Trek fan but i allways liked the shape of this ship.

Good job

Thanks sumsno and Gags. :)

@Gags, Ha ha! Trust me, I can't get more disorganised than I am now! ;D

Here you can see the problem I faced removing the liquid masking from the windows. My fault entirely. I'll not paint like this again when dealing with such tiny windows.

All those irregularities have been touched up and made as pretty as possible. Now, onto the final pics!

This image was taken with purley the daylight lamp. It looks very similar to the original colour scheme from the early TNG days....

And here, the ship explores deep space. OOhhhh dark...

Hard to port!!! The starboard engine is brighter than the port one, indicating that the ship is turning. I meant to do this. Honest. :p

Truly great job. I enjoied the thread thoughly. On to the next. The lighting...WOW!

9/10

I'll keep the 1, as I don't own it. So im just being bitter.

It does however, mean that mine must be finished this weekend so I can take pretty pics too.

10 smusno points.

Thanks Rentar. Really glad you liked it! :)

Cheers Grendels!

Thanks for the great comment smusno! Of course, I wouldn't give myself a 9/10. There's still ALOT I can improve on and a few silly mistakes that could've been avoided had I simply taken my time and thought things through.

Mostly problems with the putty (I need to really improve here), but also little things like the bright engine LED and the problems with the liquid mask around the windows.

All those things could have been improved/avoided had I taken more time and been patient.

Thanks again folks. :)

She looks beautiful and mean!
Looks quite a bit better than mine, but it would be kewl to see them side by side. ;D
Excellent work.
I give it two thumbs UP, way up!

Hey, thanks Mike! I was just looking at yours now. It certainly looks different to mine! I loved the colours and detail you put into the painting (that fluorescent paint was cool!). I was constricted with what I could do because of screen accuracy, but I'd love to go all out and paint one of these up how I want it in the future. :)

Man, I just lov the pose You've given to it so much! That aggressively going into turn.. Fascinating!
Great job all over this project, You can be 100 percent proud with her!

Thanks java, John and Sol! I'm very proud of her. Might even build another of these one day (maybe if round2 will re-release). :)
