JS 3 Berlin 1945 FINISHED

Re: JS 3 Berlin 1945

Great work on the paint Dan looking forward to the weathering!

Re: JS 3 Berlin 1945

Wow I missed this! This is looking real good Dan. Mean looking tank and I dig the intentionally sloppy unit marking on it, like it was hastily done on the eve of a battle, very cool effect and the whole build is looking rather sweet!

Re: JS 3 Berlin 1945

I had a 300d before the 1100d the MP'S will help but it can only do so much as these kit lenses have plastic/glass combo construction which limit the pic quality a total glass lense could help you a lot

As always thanks to all who have looked in and commented :)

Didn't know that, maybe the body's fine and I could just upgrade the lens....

Re: JS 3 Berlin 1945

Sorry for the delayed update the weathering stages have taken a lot longer then anticipated so here we go

Pin washes were added alongside some speckling using a stiff brush

IMG_4382_zps27989eb9.jpg

Then a dust layer was added using thinned AK Dust effects and a fine brush

Then i made a start on dirtying the JS's under crackers

These were mixed in equal parts and fixed

Then these were used for the effects

 Looks awesome! I like how you've used the screw in the base for holding it, I've put thumb prints in pigments many a time lol!

Nice Hovertank. But really, you have done a fantastic job on this beast. Might I ask what settings you shoot your photos at? (Aperture, etc.?)

Re: JS 3 Berlin 1945
