iwata eclipse

hi all, i am finally about to purchase an AB ! i am considering a eclipse, the price is good for me. 40% off. lol. does anyone know the pros n cons of it? id like to hear from people w lots of experience before i make a large commitment to a AB

I personally use an Iwata HP-CS....similar in design I suppose. I'm please with the performance thus far, but sometimes I wish it was not so prone to "tip dry" and blowback. I recommend getting a decent compressor and a regulator to compliment the AB. Then just play around with the settings and thinning ratios til you find your sweet spot.

Love Iwata....it's what's for dinner! I use the HP-BCS and just swap out the .5mm needle to the .35mm for fine work. Not that I've actually used the .35 needle yet but I have it on my bench for when I'm ready to use it.
