HMS Norfolk sails against gale force winds an heavy seas

HI ALL well i took Norfolk for maybe her last sail yesterday an she sailed great against gale force winds an heavy seas at sheringham pond as one yaght was complety blown over as the mast was near broken an the sail was in the water but Norfolk sailed like a trooper through it all an i was very pleased as the wind was so strong it blew my tight fittin baseball hat off my head an jens brolly got blew inside out an i was the only one that carryied on sailing till my batts went down flat so had to bring her in after nr a hour sailing time got a little warter in her that come up the prop shafts but nothing serious but enjoyed the time talking to the public about the model an they did plenty of phones vids of her sailing

SO A GREAT TIME SAILING for me an the public an now some pics

THANKS ambivalentmayb Pleased you like the photos of Norfolk pushin through the waves as been said it look like a mill pond an calm but the wind was gale force an it was blowin the water waves flat but it wrecked a fair sized yacht as the wind force broke the mast an the sail was in the water but the chap took his yacht off the water when he could get it in an mended it an had another quick sail but not for long as he could see that the wind was to strong so he took it off the water an went home as did some other boats but Norfolk sailed for over an hour in them conditions till my batts went flat an yes i throughly enjoyed seein her battle against the elements cheers for you reply sir

THANKS Steve glad you like the pics as jen took them while i sailed norfolk as i had to keep an eye on her as the wind was so strong it was tryin to force norfolk into the concrete edge of the pond wherein damge would orrcur to the mast an such but i manged to steer her clear of the pond edges as seen many model ship get damage there an yes she is a strong model as she dint suffer much damage after that idiot hit her with his fast eletric boat doin 40 odd mph
