Feeling the need to fly I started a 1/48 Grumman F3F-2 U.S. Navy fighter/bomber by Accurate Miniatures. Here are some progress pic's and comments and questions are welcome.

Looking good so far! By your progress it looks to be a pretty good kit. Looks like fit and finish are pretty nice. Did you run into any troubles with it up to now?

Yeah it's a pretty good kit! The landing gear struts were a bit tricky. You have to make sure they are straight and level before you glue them down.

Painted the upper wing. I then put on the decals. I attached the lower wings. The upper wing is not attached yet, but it's beginning to look like plane.





Upper wing is attached. Flying wires and cabanes attached. Wind screen is in place. The model is basically complete with only some small details and decals to finish.
