Mitatoyo 6in digital metric, and american measure caliper at Walmart. This thing retails for 160.00 + got it today from wally world for $45.00, more of a steal than a deal i say. They are great tools, my 4in lasted 15 years and only lost 0.001 accuracy. if you have the bucks right now get yourself one.

Great price for sure!

I had a digital one (similar to that) which I really liked, but it died on me and I replaced it with a manual/analog version. Don't need three decimal places when my peepers can barely see two :)

I still have my dial caliper, but with my job i need to swap back and forth from metric to inch a lot so the digital is the way for me.

Wow some times you just have to wonder about people, posted it in another place, first response, ( at that price it has to be a knock off 🤪 ) I will never offer up a fake product, i buy quality and i share quality. Buy with confidence brothers and sisters.

I used to own digital ones, but the battery kept running out … I don't use calipers much (and more now than back then), so it was really annoying to find the battery dead the times I did need them. The problem was that the on/off button just seemed to switch the screen off, not the electronics entirely – which is not a problem for people who use the thing all the time every day, but it is if you use it once every couple of months at best, like I did back then. I gave it away and went back to using the vernier scale ones I already had — at least the battery can't run out on those :)
