Pegasus Great White Shark Kit

could you have just supported one of his feet with a thinner , shorter rod to the cage floor ?
Absolutely, but I'd already glued the sides onto the floor, (a bit prematurely), so it was tight to get in there. May have been better (overall) to actually mount him "hanging" from a clear rod from the top of the cage, but I'd committed to this path and figured I'd ride it out.
A short clear rod, mounted to the inside of one of his feet, to the bottom of the cage would look better- Where were ya when I needed ya? ;)

Where were ya when I needed ya?

I would have insisted on supporting the figure upon the cage only where the camera rests -- replacing any cage elements with brass or steel if necessary to resist the moment load . ;)

Yes, that tracks, based on reviewing your other works- You could've completely rebuilt the cage from brass, me? I'm not that talented, (or patient). So I settled for the clear rod jammed into his tank.

I am trying to make the alternate head (from the kit) look more like Bruce, from Jaws. I struggled with making something look unnatural, about as much as I struggle with making it look natural.
Added the "jowls" of the mechanical shark, the head shape is off too, but I'm not talented enough to sculpt the brow/nose area.
Not sure if Milliput was the best option (at least for me) on this with the complex shapes, it's great for seam filling and such, but even when I tried to use it for smaller details, it was too tough to use. I'm thinking of investing in a smaller trial package of either Green Stuff, or Apoxie Sculpt (based on other's posts). I've also got a couple of packages of some air dry clay around here somewhere, maybe that may help? I don't know. I don't know how much sculpting I'll be doing in the future, but I'll have to ponder.

I did take off about 2 mm's of the nose, giving it a more blunted look.

Based on Edbert's recommendation of applying a bit of heat to the seams/mold lines, (that worked incredibly well btw, wish I'd thought of that for the main shark), but again, sanding this stuff is a struggle.

I'll let the milliput harden up and see if I can fine tune the "sculpt", (I say that in the looses possible terms) a bit and try to get it to look more like Bruce-
I've got a great reference photo from the Jaws exhibit the wife and I went to at the Catalina Island museum. They had tons of cool stuff, (the cage, props and displays, including all of Joe Alves' drawings for the shark) including a life-size maquette of Bruce's head, so I'm using that as a reference.
