According to Scalemates, a 1976 rebox of the 1971 Fujimi kit.

The decal sheet has more pieces than the kit!

Some of the old kits are fun to build. I like the experience but also still enjoy a Tamiya!

...so, as part of my strategy for the Gladiator, this guy is getting built in parallel; will practice paint techniques — that are still mostly new — on this guy.

Gotta build it first!
Very few parts, flash not too bad, and fit so far pretty good.
Spit is so sleek compared to the Gloster Gladiator!

And painting a 1/48 pilot with virtually no surface detail was interesting.
