I finally was able to go out in a small aircraft and the pilot let me fly it for about an hour.
Nerve wracking at first but very fun and surreal. I am looking at going to flight school to get my Private Pilot License.

Cool I remember as a teenager a great guy that went to our Church took me and a couple of other teens up in his airplane and he let me pull the wheel back on take off. He maintained the rudders and everything else and it was the coolest thing to me at that time. I never learned to fly but that was a highlight I'll never forget. Have fun getting your license.

It is always awesome when one can achieve something you have been wanting to do for a long time. Congrats! Hope you get your private license as soon as possible!

I got permission from my wife that I can sign up when we get our second house rented. Probably May 1st.
