The kit: (Italeri C.R 42 1/48 scale)
I really love the WWII Italian aircraft. This aircraft was one of the last Italian bi-planes to fly during WWII. Note the complex camouflage pattern on the top surfaces (tri-tone). This aircraft operated at night thus the black on the cowling and under the top wing only. Interesting camouflage on the engine cover too. Note the flame dampeners under the engine and fuselage and rust. This aircraft was one of many at the end of the biplane era at the end of WWII. Quite sophisticated for that era and very durable. I love the wheel pants.
