I think this goes here. If not, I apologize.
I am a pretty big fan of horror and creature design and with the new Aliens: Fallen Earth series dropping recently, I decided to print and paint a Facehugger. I did not create the model, as my Blender skills are not up to par for organic shapes currently. These were printed on a Bambu P1s w/ Bambu Matte Gray filament. I am not sure why I printed it life-size as I don't have any room for it really, but what is-done-is-done, so I am going to roll with it. More to come soon, thanks for looking!

I created a basic base w/ aluminum stand and got to work on posing. CA holds the joints where I wanted them:
Base Build:
I used resin to fill in between the rocks and then added real dirt and rocks for texture. I am going to paint it in a cold gray w/ some dry brushing, nothing complicated.
Body Work/Paint:
Filled in most of the tail segments with UV epoxy to give the model some strength. Used some syringes and then sat there with the UV Pen. Took forever. I primed the whole thing with some generous coats of Automotive Fill Primer.
Paint:
Top color is Tamiya Matte Flesh, bottom is Rustoleum Satin Ivory
