G'day folks. Recently bought this online from Legend productions. I've cleaned it all up ready fro primer. This will be my first attempt at a bust and could be a complete disaster :p

I've been watching lots of stuff on YouTube , I'm going to try using vallejo acrylics for this one.

Comes in three pieces, helmet, head and torso. The design is good so should be able to get them all painted separately and assembled at the end, which me luck ;D

Hey Rookie! You got any updates on this? I am trying to get up enough nerve to do a bust as well. I would love to hear about your experience.

Started the torso last weekend, will get some pics up this weekend :)

Very cool. I keep wanting to build / paint a figure or a bust - but I keep wondering if I'd wreak it.

I'll be following along, I'm pretty interested to see how you tackle this.
As a side note, I think ChrisS did a face painting SBS here on the forum.

So here's where I'm at. Painted the base colour of the jacket in Vajello " London grey " . I then used that base clouR and mixed 3 progressively darker shades of the base and 3 highlights. Worked with the from dark to light with very thin coats blending as I went. Finally I dry brushed with an ever lighter tint which kind of screwd it up a bit, think I used a wrong brush. Good news is I can fix it .. I think ;D
