I could have pout this in sci-fi, but it's technically a gaming mini

New project on the bench.
Going to be building Games Workshop's new Dark Eldar Razorwing jetfighter

Going to do this as about 98% out of the box.

Started working with sub-assemblies.
Underwing missiles:
Like with a real fighter, I'm using a combination missile load. In this case, I'm using a pair of "monoscythe" missiles, and a pair of "shatterfield" missiles.

Here, we have the completed main engines

Nose-mounted weapon choices:
Either twin-linked splinter rifles, or a single splinter cannon. I'm leaning toward the splinter cannon

Work on the cockpit started with modifying the pilot to be a female figure.
Pilot was given a base coat of flat black, and later drybrushed with red and orange. Her viso was picked out in metallic blue.
The cockpit itself was painted in using Vallejo Smoke and detailed with turquoise and red.
This assembly was given a coat of Future, and then placed into the lower hull.

Work began on the upper part of the hull as well.
Intake inserts and wing gun mounts were glued into place, as were the main engines, canopy, and some of the tail fins

Great job. 8)
This is one of the few Dark Eldar model that I do like, tempted to go buy one.

Thanks, guys.

@DXM,
Retails for $41.25 US, available from Games Workshop's site, or their stores.

@Eastrock,
That it is.

Okay, at this point, basic construction is done. I'll add the missiles once the main ship is painted.
Did run into a slight problem with the canopy, and my pilot being too tall, but I have that dealt with.

Thanks, Sorien

Real quick update for today.
I masked off the canopy, and then primered her up.
Once the primer was done, she was given a black base coat.
Over that, went a coat of Testors "Graphite Dust"

I haven't been on YouTube much lately, will catch up soon, but nice work from the photos!!

Picked it up at either Michaels, or Hobby Lobby here locally.
It's a Testors lacquer

Okay, at this point, she's done.
I drybrushed the engines, intakes, and guns with copper, and then with gold.
Using a fine paint brush, I went in and hand painted the panel lines in red.
The gems covering the ship were painted with red, or green respectively, and then given a coat of the same color ink to smooth them out and give a more gem-like appearance.

The missiles were given a base coat of Graphite Dust, and then drybrushed.
One set was drybrushed in copper and then the tips drybrushed red. After that, the gems were painted with red ink.
The other set was drybrushed in gold and then the noses drybrushed in green.

The whole assembly was then given a coat of semi-gloss before I put on a few of the kit decals.
With the decals in place, the whole ship was then given another coat of semigloss.
After that was dry, I gave the gems a coat of Future to make them stand out.
