Good job with those seams. I had some problems their too, but I actually learned alot from working on this model. Seams no longer frighten me quite like they used to (famous last words).

Where did you get your LED tape? I've been looking for a UK supplier of that stuff.

Ah yeah, there's loads of it! I'll take a closer look next time I'm buying. Not got any lighting projects planned for a while.

Love yer vids....I mean yer crazy and all, but interesting to watch.
Too bad the model bits were backlit, so I couldn't really make out the subtle variations in the colors.
It'll be great to see her all completed, AND I am totally with you painting her HOWEVER you want!
As an example, one of the first models I ever built was the original Enterprise NCC-1701, and it came with translucent parts for the bridge, and planetary sensor..... Later, when I built the kit again, I painted those bits green, and still later, when I built the 1/100 Polar Lights version (still un-finished) I colored the insides of the same parts with a translucent green. The parts are molded in clear.
Anyway, do it as you'd like. YOU are the only one you need to please....unless you're entering it into a contest..... lol

its not tape, the tape was worse than useless. both in the big bulge, and the bridge lights!

Still only 1/2 way through. But sometimes what looks smooth, tells a different story with some undercoat on it.
