This is one of the aspects of model building I enjoy most. All the neat stuff you learn about a given subject while researching and building.

This piece should be under glass at the Smithsonian!

My goodness gents ... thanx very much!
I'm a new member and have posted some of my other Real Space models on this site, a couple weeks ago.

This shuttle was a real labour of love and the online build takes you through the entire build. There are a whole slew of details that you can only see there.

And yup, I think I know that Space Shuttle pretty well now! ;-D

As a newcomer to this stuff, it's really great to see how much someone can do with the right knowledge and skill. A bit of obsessive determination must help too.

I'd love to be doing something like this in the coming years when I'm less green.
