Any insight on the complications?

Drawing parallel, straight lines is not very easy on curved surfaces such as the fuselage.
Even a slight misalignment means you have to start all over again...

I had to correct them a couple of times...

Rod, you've done it once again with another small-scaled wonder. I can't get over the realism that you bring to the table with your builds and if I didn't know any better, I would swear that this one is 1/48 scale.
